I kind of accidentally built a tribute model of it--sort of--a few years ago when I restored a flea market find '71 Cuda model. Triple black models are kind of boring, so I did the interior in gray. BTW, the body isn't painted black, it's molded in black plastic and I just polished it.Oh, a triple-black Phantasm 'Cuda is on my "If I win the lottery" list. Or a Bullitt tribute Charger, I'm not particular.
If it's the 'Cuda . . . I'd be strongly tempted to have somebody with talent do an airbrush mural on the hood of Angus Scrimm casting the orb, ala the original movie poster . . . Probably opt for a modern Gen III Hemi powertrain, though.
. . . Wonder if "BOY!" is already taken as a vanity license plate . . .
