    Farmer question planting crimson clover

" Clover is my 3rd worst weed." OMG, I have no idea how much I've spent interseeding clover into pastures to IMPROVE them.

    Cleaning Mags

Do you drop the magazines in sand, dirt, water? Do you handle them with sweaty hands or dribble GatorAid on them? If neither, then a simple wipe down should be sufficient.

    No problems with Blazer.

    Farmer question planting crimson clover

'Cover crop' is a general description of some sort of 'expendable/sacrificial' ground cover seeded after harvest or during the late maturity stage of the grain crop. Primarily used for wind/water erosion control/prevention and often has some attributes of adding organic matter or in the case of...

    22/45 durability

^^^ I agree with Contender on this. The amount of misfit isn't noticeable. A very thin 'shim' is all that's required but the slight 'wiggle' won't affect use, accuracy, or safety of the pistol. I 'bedded' the pocket of one FrankenRuger 22/45 but this is VERY TRICKY and could result in a solidly...

Gen2 American Ranch .300 blackout magazines

First off, the 300BO parent isn't the 223 but 300 cases can be formed from 223. 'Most' .223/5.56 magazines will work with 300 ammo but some better than others. A bit of trial and error may be required depending on the type of ammo and feeding requirements of the rifle but a bolt action is...

    3D printing an option?

I think I have solved my problem. Seems an out of the way gun shop has a few magazines for this model in 22/250 at the original prices (vs 4X ebay or GB prices) The only difference 'SEEMS' to be feed lips and I have a DREMEL. Guess I'll find out in about a week.

    Pepper Spray

"Pepper spray" I've used it a few times when I was a USPS city route carrier. The USPS issue stuff was weak in both OC and projection so I asked the friendly Sheriff for 'the good stuff'. First time I felt the need to use it was a smallish ankle biter that had nailed me 2-3 times previously. It...

    Scout Rifle

A 'scout rifle' with a detachable magazine and scope rail over the ejection port???? Jeff Cooper would be rolling in his grave :devilish: The concept of the scout rifle is defeated by both these options.

    Hoppes or Ballistol?

I buy Hoppes by the quart and use if generously.

    Deadly lightning strike

I just saw that news report on 'AgWeb'. Really sorry scenario. A local farmer and his horse were killed by a lightning strike about 30 years ago. We lost nine cows to a single hit in the early 90's. I've been 'jingled' twice while building/repairing fence.

    Winchester Ammo

Another point to mention: IMHO one should avoid steel cased 9mm. I had a customer try that in his GLOCK with dismal results(split cases to be exact).

AI learns to cheat and deceive

AI was originally purported to be free of human emotions and/or vices. Guess that wasn't 100% true.

Ruger American Gen II 5.56 Ranch…stock dilemma.

I suppose you can 'modify' the MagPul to suit yourself.

    Winchester Ammo

'Dirty' is a relative term. ANY price point ammo is lower cost because of lower cost of production and one place cost is reduced is by using lower grade components--powder being one. Lower grade powder leads to more 'fouling'-hence the 'dirty' flag. I load my own 'blasting ammo' using quality...
