I don't normally shoot commie ammo. But I have, and I've shot a lot of it. And I've never had an issue with a single round, other than in a rifle, it's not as accurate as domestic or other high quality ammo.

I am in agreement here too. I use a lot of ammo in a lot of different flavors. I always wonder, when somebody says a specific brand is dirtier, what do they actually see? Or are they just repeating... At the end of a range session, I never say, "gee this ammo was really dirty". The gun is...

Hoppe's makes both a cleaner and a lubricant. I use Hoppe's #9 for bore and cylinder cleaning, and I've been using Ballistol for lubing and protecting. And I use a combination product on a toothbrush for brushing what I can reach in a semi auto, pistol or long gun.

I very much agree with this. There are multiple Ruger models I would buy instantly, if they were available anywhere, at any price. They remain unavailable, and simultaneously, Ruger is designing and releasing more models.

Yes. And different versions were used by European countries in the 1880's. It probably doesn't matter, being just a movie novel, but some movies such as this one are difficult to pinpoint an era. Often, the 1892, 1894, or Peacemaker are used without question in the Western movies. But seeing...

If there was an automobile in McLintock, I don't remember. However, there were definitely automobiles in Big Jake and the Shootist.

I watch McLintock often. Each time, I probably catch something different, but today for the first time, I saw the rifles given to the Indians from the rail car are Krag-Jorgensen rifles. I have not been able to tell what year the movie portrays, but it now must've been 1894-ish or later...
