I have killed a few bears in self defense, but I live in the woods most of the spring and in the fall as a big game guide. never had to do it with a hand gun in self defense. but killed a 10 foot 4in with a L.A.R. Grizzly in 45 win mag at 45 yards. here's a photo. Mr. Deerstalker

the are early made vaqueros, there large framed, 2 digit prefixed guns, and the newer produced vaqueros, med framed guns, 3 digit prefixed guns. both are great guns, but always remember....all old model guns ended in 1973. them are called three screws. there are no such thing as a old model...

gun brokers sucks

its new in box, so one can assume yes. but, it with be a shame to use it on a gun. its a vintage, complete package. perfect for a display. I'd not use it on a gun. but that's just me...Mr. DS

never installed Brass Frame kit, complete as they come, box in really good shape, one stain on top, but a solid box. all parts are unused. great for display. $650. shipped
